This project scope encompasses remediation of historical contaminants at a 170,000 bbl/day operating refinery complex.

The scope of work includes:

• Excavation, bioremediation and placement as backfill of approximately 500,000 m3 of hydrocarbon impacted soils
• Installation of 40 extraction wells including associating pumping and piping equipment for recovery, and off site disposal, of approximately 30,000 m3 of recovered free product
• Classification, packaging and off site disposal of approximately 20,000 m3 of spend process medias, asbestos, sludges, etc.
• Collection and off site disposal of 80,000 m3 of heavy end hydrocarbon impacted soils.
